The Bell-Horizon Group believes in doing its share for sustainable development.
To encourage the preservation of natural resources and responsible practices toward our natural, cultural, and human heritage, the company has taken the following initiatives:
- Established a policy to optimize bus routes.
- Reduced the use of and arranged for recycling of paper, cardboard, used oils, etc.
- Developed green space projects on its properties.
- Carried out a study on analyzing the soil of its properties.
Several other projects specifically aimed at sustainable development are currently under study. We are currently using individual biodegradable bags aboard our charter buses. We also have increased the time between oil changes on some of our luxury coaches depending on the engine model with the maker’s approbation. For those engines, inspection and maintenance is done on regular intervals but oil changes are done half the time, producing less used oil. About 38 litres of oil are needed per oil change, per vehicle
